Jericho Municipality initiated to establish the children city council in order to involve children in community activities and to have a role in the development process in the city.
The children municipal council is a body that allows children to practice all of their activities and to reveal their creativity in all fields. And plays an important role in children capacity building. The council also allows children to contact with other children in the world to send a message that Jericho children and Palestinian children are seeking for peace and they have the right to play and all rights as well as all children in the world.
