Deputy Mayor of Jericho meets the owners and drivers of portable water tankers

The Deputy Mayor of Jericho Municipality, Mr. Fathi Brahma, and in the presence of city council member, Mr. Helmy Jalayta, and head of the Water and Sanitation Department, Eng. Muhammad Al-Fityani, briefed a delegation of owners and drivers of portable domestic water distribution tanks on the municipality's procedures to organize the work of this sector to ensure the quality of domestic water services that come from Ain Al-Sultan spring and reservoirs. The municipality is within the mechanisms of working with the relevant authorities and in accordance with the technical and health standards.

Brahma stressed the municipality's concern to ensure that water access to all communities and sectors located outside the boundaries of the municipal water network service within the priorities in terms of needs and services without causing a disruption in the daily program for pumping water to all neighborhoods of the city.

the head of the Water and Sanitation Department, Eng. Muhammad Al-Fityani, stressed the concern and effort of the municipality to increase the efficiency of water pumping by searching for new water sources that meet the technical and health standards to address any shortage in the quantities of water needed by the citizens of the city.

Owners and drivers of portable water tanks submitted number of demands that were agreed to be addressed by the municipality in accordance with the procedures adopted.
